Looking into the Nantucket Lobster Trap. This is an old fashioned New

England seafood place (with crazy Nantucket prices.)

It took some pratice before I started getting pictures I liked at my

son's soccer games. What I've learned so far:

Can't use a tripod. Action is too fast

Fastest shutter, largest aperture.

Sit in a chair on the side of the field. You lose some shots, but

you get none if you try to follow the action around. Also, it is

important to get the camera down to approximately waist level of the

players

Cool! How hard was this to get?

Nice drama. Interesting because I don't think you could capture an interesting moment during the game from this angle with this lens.

In addition to aesthetics and originality, I've often thought there should be a rating for degree of difficulty. That would be pretty high for this shot given the limitations of a photographer in the audience and the constant motion and speed of a boxing match.

Just the right moment! Great contrast between sky and landmarks.

Great! I have a lot of experience photographing children

and it's really really hard to capture this kind of moment.There really should be a third rating category, something like "perfection". I'd give this a 10 on that score.
