These are the colors of a baby's room -- a girl's room. So subtle and soft. I love that you didn't go in and supersaturate them afterwards. I'm beginning to recognize that I alter the levels and saturation a little too much in my photos. You are giving me a lesson in subtlety.

I love the way you allow the viewer to see into and under the water. It makes me want to get out my skin diving gear and visit.

 

Color is beautiful.

The light was amazing that afternoon in Scotland. I wish the photo

would show how big and bright it was. This view was miles and miles

deep. I want the distance and brightness to show, but my memory of

the landscape might be superimposed on the actual photo that YOU

see. Tell me what you think!

Wow -- the subject, color, and sharpness of detail are astounding. Every time I look at the tree -- or what's left of it -- I see another face. Very cool choice of subject. The red absolutely sets it off. Very nice.

I love the composition; oh heck, I like the color, too. The glow of sunlight on the wood is gorgeous. Although this is just perfect as it is, I'd love to see what the whole boat looks like. It's like nothing I've ever seen.

Yes, I know the foreground is blurry -- it was shot out the window

of a car travelling at 70 mph, and there's something unbalanced

about the cloud ...

That's amazing -- the separation and contrast of the feathers. I agree that I would clone out the spotty and other distracting background. It would certainly not detract from the realism of the photo. It would make it a work of art.

I am bothered by the almost-central placement of the birdhouse, but

the colors and serenity of the scene make me feel good.
