Sunrise from the top of a hill in San Francisco. I especially like

the bus passing on the street and the reflection os fhte sky in the

windows of the Victorian on the left side of the picture frame.

I love the color, the practically-metallic texture, the ambiguity around focus, point-of-view... wonderful!

(in San Francisco) I know that sunrise/sunset photos can be pretty

boring, so I'm always on the lookout for something different. This

day, with fog rolling over the hills and the sky a brilliant

orange-red, it looked like there was a huge fire in the sky with smoke

on the hills.

what a beautiful image! there's an other-worldly quality to it, like it's not of this earth. i love the repetition of wispy/swirly in the water and the sky ... even the rock in the foreground, while recognizable, evokes something other-than-what-it-is. very cool!
