  2. I have a black chrome M-A and a black paint M-P 240. I love them both.
  3. Well, at least, we can't blame Biden on those price increases.
  4. Like a dummy, I sold mine. Then I spilled for an M-A black chrome. Oh yeah.
  5. Ya, I had that happen, too. Buying a S3 2000 this week with the kit 50/1.4 lens. I am excited as of all my Nikon and Leica cameras I have and still have, never have I owned a Nikon Rangefinder.
  6. Glad to see an old friend like the D50 getting put to use.
  7. Shooting primarily with my Nikon D7500 with 3 primes. 24mm 2.8 AF-D 50mm 1.8 AF-D 85mm 1.8 AF-D Ya I know not the latest, but they were affordable and provide great image quality. FOV is 36-75-127
  8. I have 2 FM3a's for the past 15 years. I use them a lot. Nary a whimper. They work like pack mules.
  9. I have owned and tried out many cameras. I especially liked the Fuji XT-1 and the Panasonic GX8. They and others have been awesome. But dang I wear transition glasses (become dark in the bright sun) and seeing thru an EVF on those sunny days is a bummer. Plus I have boatload of legacy Nikkor lenses. I decided on a used D600 for $685. Worked great but the Nikon Service advisory said I could get a shutter upgrade. While it was at Nikon I read somewhere that if you ask Nikon, they sometimes will just ship you back a brand new D610 at no cost. I asked and they said yes!!. So now I have a brand new D610 for $685!! Reasons I am sticking with the D610: Price, price, price OVF is awesome Battery life is awesome Image quality is A+ Built like a tank Weather resistant Weight is tolerable when mated to my 50/1.8 AF-D lens Dual SD slots
  10. It is one bad ass looking camera. There is one on ebay for $3000.

  17. Thom Hogan writes, "24-85mm f/3.5-4.5. The smaller size and weight better complements the 24mp camera bodies, and the optical performance is tuned just about right for those cameras, too. These lenses are almost good enough to recommend to D8xx users, and are actually some of Nikon’s best lens bargains in FX."

  19. My needs are modest.I have the old 24-80 f3.3-5.6 lens. A toy really but the shots I get with this lens on my D610 are quite good. But VR and a bit of weather sealing would be a good addition as I walk around Florida a lot where it can squall at any minute.
  20. Any love for the NIKON 24-85mm F/3.5-4.5G ED VR AF-S Lens? The venerable FX kit lens. Seems like a nice all around zoom lens. Any real world experience here?
  21. I order from them all the time. You should, too.
