Yeah, I heard the same thing, but its not. Both the catchlight and the wide panel are pushed in fully.

Yeah, It has been blinking for the last 4 or 5 times I have shot. It doesn't seem to affect the flash outcome, but its annoying blinking on my face all the time, and I'm sure it doesn't help the batteries.

Hey Chuck, thanks for the advice! I reset the settings, and voila! I am just confused as to how it happened, but thanks a million!

My display blinks non stop. I pushed in both the catchlight and the wide angle
screen, and it still flashes. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

When I use my rebel xt on autofocus, it only has the farthest right point in the
7-point autofocus system that works. I am not sure if its a setting I have it
on, or what. Anybody know whats goin on, or how to get back to my 7-point system?

I am using the rebel xt with a 580ex speedlite, and when i have my camera on
auto focus, it will only focus on the very right auto focus dot. Anyone have
any idea if this is a user error on my part, or it if is a problem with the camera?
Also, I have a speedlite 580ex that blinks constantly while I am shooting with
it, I have already tried pushing in the wide angle as well as the catchlight,
and it still blinks.
Any help on either subject would be appreciated :)

For the most part I am bouncing the flash, so I don't have it pointed straight forward. But I just tried it straight forward and it blinks like crazy still. Even when I am not pressing the shutter button.
