I love the feel of this photo. With the loss of focus as we traverse the tree and the blurred leaves (showing almost a rippling effect) in the upper right, it adds almost a reflective (shot as a reflection in a pool) feel which is enhanced by the hard lines of the lower branches. From a purely visual asthetic aspect I agree that you should crop (or otherwise remove the branch creeping into the frame from the upper left), from an intellectual aspect I think this branch made me think more about whether or not this pcture was shot as a reflection.
