I'm still thinking about desaturating the blue color, but I'm still

not sure if it adds or detracts from the image. Is it an interesting

image? I feel something for it, but that feeling may be too

    subjective.

    Cheers!

Well done indeed! I like the expression and color very much. To nitpick, (since it's easy to nitpick what we really like :) Instead of a gradient background like that, try just blurring the original background. You've taken the time to select the main figure out of the background in order to help her stand out. Instead of dropping in an artificial background, run a phat gaussian blur on the original background. This will let the figure stand out in a more natural way, as if you'd used a long telephoto to pull the subject out.

You might also play with image curves just a tad to bring her facial color closer to white, rather than the greyish tinge it has.

Again, i'm nitpicking because I like it. Good job.

Great lyrical quality to the background shapes and of course the color works so well.

I'm just bothered by the fact that she looks tilted backwards. it's too awkward to ignore. But the idea and execution are really great!

I too was confused by the table angle, it's so *slight*, hardly noticable, but noticeable anyway. Nonetheless, this shot draws me. I quite like it. I'm thinking of a doo-wop group onstage when I look at it. wonderful texture in the highlights. h'ray!
