Very nice. It's been a long time since I was there. I heard a few years ago that the water level had fallen, but it looks from your photo that the level is normal.

  1. I agree with Larry, the flow is at it's peak. I  have been there three times, once when  the falls were as in this photo and once when  there was hardly a trickle over the upper falls. No matter the flow over the falls, the valley is one of my favorite locations in all of the USA.

Grayham, thanks for your comments. I agree with your adjustments in the photo. I welcome suggestions on my posts and always try to use them as learning tools for future photo opportunities. Thanks again.

  2. Stephen and Don, thanks for your comments. I do have another view of this barn which moves the barn to the right. I am not sure how to present it so that it appears with this submission. Perhaps someone can enlighten me as to how this is accomplished. I have seen other entries that have done this. Advice anyone? Thanks

Marc and Joe, thanks for your kind remarks and helpful recommendations. Sad to say, I was on a tour bus, my time at the Arches was very limited, the temperature was very high, IT WAS HOT! It would be great to make another visit to that location; however, since I live in Tidewater Virginia, the likelihood of returning to the Arches is very doubtful.

After looking at the posted photo again and comparing it to the original photo before making the size reduction, I think I made a vast improvement to the photo but I'm not sure how to resubmit it so that it appears in this critique. Perhaps one of you can advise me how to achieve this and you can compare the two and give me your further comments. Again, thanks for taking the time to give me some valuable instructions.

  3. Janice, I just noticed your question as to why bombs were painted on the fuselage of the Liberty Belle. I believe each bomb represents a combat mission flown by the airplane. Sorry I did not see your question earlier.
