Andrew,
You exhibit a very deft touch in putting this image together. Very nice.

Thanks, MJ. It looks a lot better (more natural) after applying the noise reduction. Am just starting to scan my negatives and am still getting the hang of it.

I was surprised at how much detail my Fuji E900 captured in the
shadows.

I'm not really a decanter kind of guy, but I always like to take photos of
this one.

That really is an amazing smile (I'm not sure it would even be possible to smile like that and have one's eyes open simultaneously). The little boy's expression provides such a nice contrast to the man's smile, and with the boy in the upper right-hand corner, there is visual interest throughout the entire frame.

Thanks, Rajat.

Thank you, Tommy. I guess I took out a lot of yellow to compensate for the scan of the snapshot, which was way too yellow. Thus the black-and-white (and the retro?) look.

Thank you, Jose. I never thought that someday some of my pictures would be pretty old, but it's happening. Thus the retro feel, I think.

Thanks, Bob.
Syed, this print is from a scan of a snapshot. One of these days I'll scan the negative and see if the picture can be cropped to slightly better effect. I'm sure there's a little detail around the edges of the negative that didn't make it into the snapshot (assuming I can locate the negative, that is).
