Poked my head into this alleyway while looking for a restaurant where I
could catch a late supper. Very near Philadelphia's Chinatown. (I never even
knew Philadelphia had a Chinatown.)

Taken with my Yashica Electro 35. Admirably sharp lens.
Did I take a little too much yellow out?

Thank you, Pierre.
As usual, any photo of mine that comes out well is a total accident, and any photo of mine that comes out well that involves using flash is a freak of nature. That being said, I was using the pop-up flash on my Olympus E-410, probably set to 1/16th or so of full power (the setting doesn't seem to be retained in the EXIF information).
The light in the room was not so great, and the sun was beginning to set, so I'm surprised at the nice lighting too.
Maybe the 25mm single-focal-length lens I was using (becomes 50 mm in the four-thirds system) should get some of the credit. The picture does look sharper and clearer than a lot of my others (I'm usually using the kit zoom).

A very striking image.

As spring time arrived, first the cherry blossoms and magnolias bloomed,
then the neighborhood became resplendent with azaleas. Here are pink
azaleas in the morning sun.

Gorgeous girl. Gorgeous picture. Beautiful palette of midtones.

Is the noise acceptable? How can I tell? I can't see any! But not only is the noise well controlled, the picture is nicely conceived, composed, and shot too.

An average of 3 after five ratings? Please! Do I hear a 6? Help me pull my rating up!

Beautiful coloring, composition, lighting. Just perfect.

Hey, a rating of "2" is not helping me. Let's try to play a little nice here.
