  1. well what about statuettes and buttons? maybe people could order those later? would i charge 50 - 75 for each kid? plus the cost of prints? you think people would pay that? or could i just got ahead and treat it as school pictures where there's a line of kids. each one has a check/cash for their package and i put them in the pose, shoot, then later send them what they ordered? i'm not sure. i haven't been to a shoot with this amount of kids. thanks for the input.
  2. Hello, i have just gotten an offer to possibly be doing a soccer little league

team for a lady who i had shot senior photos of her daughter.she says there are

12 teams and around 100 kids. she would like a price list for packages. what

should i do? they want statuettes, buttons, sports cards, and i've decided to

order everything from mpix.com. which is the site i use for ordering prints for

clients. what should i look at pricing wise? i'm not sure what i should take

    into consideration.

    3" buttons are 1.56

    (12) sports cards are 7 bucks.

    5 X 7 statuette is 16 dollars.

any tips on how to go about shooting so many kids? package sizes? i'd really

like to get into this. i have a couple friends who coach for football teams and

    want me for next season.

any advice would be helpful. thanks.

  3. ^^^i honestly want to do everything. people always ask what type of photography i want to do. i love every aspect of photography. weddings portraits, sports, etc... i enjoy it all. i've created business cards. and i've taken a few senior pictures and things, it's just not really bringing any more business in. i'm starting a photography course at the community college that has a business on photography class. so hopefully they'll give me a few tips. thanks guys.
  4. how exactly do you go about asking a nightclub or concert place or even a small

business if they would like some photographs taken of the interior/exterior look

and feel to hopefully get your name out around your city and start making money

in photography? i assist weddings and freelance work part-time while working

full-time in a warehouse to pay bills. i want photography to stay my hobby, but

also become my career. how do you get jobs?

  5. alright. i had a friend today tell me that some of the clubs he goes to around

the city i live in(columbus, ohio), there are at times photographers with a

background of somesort set-up in the corner somewhere where people can get

their photos taken with friends or whatever and they charge maybe 10 for a 5X7

and 15 or so for and 8X10. they have the camera connected to a printer and

print the photos while the people are standing there....now i realize that

these photographers have to have some kind of contract or something with the

    club owners.

    my question is...

has anyone ever heard of this? the friend told me it could be a very

loucrative opportunity and would be a good way to get my name out by having a

stack of business cards next to my set-up or something.

how could i go about doing this? and do you reall think it could be a good way

to get my name out and at the same time make a little cash on the side?

    thanks.
