    you could crop this shot in a middle format. the darkness on the left and right are distracting and with cropping them out you can still see the darkness but concentrate more on the object of interest.

    It has a point, but the object that makes the scene is too far away - he is too small.

    You probably tried a vertical shot cause the horizontal didn't work?

    Good idea but alot of unused space.

    it's a macro shot, so implementing a high DOF is not an easy option.

    i like it, i love the aperture settings and i love that the backround is not empty so it ads a little more depth and an extra element in the shot.

    a smart photo.
