Jayme, couldn't agree with you more. I have asked on several occasions to please comment on low ratings to help me improve. Unfortunately hasn't worked. Like you, its the low ratings I want comments on (and I have many :) ). How about having a critique forum only (no ratings)? They have it on Nilonians and it is quite active. Its just too easy to rate pics and move on (I'm sometimes guilty of this). Seconds after I actually post a critique request I sometimes have 3 ratings, many times 3 and 3 with no comments. Just a thought.

Is there a way to set up acr so that it brings pics up without having to unchecked the auto setting everytime? I would like the pictures to load how I took them. Thanks for the info!

Doesn't the Nikon software load the picture at the cameras settings? I tried using the Adobe Camera Raw and found the pictures did look at all as they had been taken which brought me to go with the Nikon software. Thanks for the info. Mike

I am considering purchasing Nikon Capture NX. I shoot in RAW only and would use

the software to convert prior to working my picture in Elements 4.0. I am also

considering picking up the SB-600 flash (I have the SB-22S for my D70S - cannot

use it in TTL). I cant afford to purchase both right now and am looking at which

would be the most benificial for me. I am an intermediate amateur who does both

landscape and portraits. Looking for some advice from you guys - should I plunge

into the Capture software, or go for the better flash?
