Interesting point - the upper contrail was sort of like a surreal item, kinda fit with the lower one through the fence. I see your point, a square crop would certainly work, eliminating the upper sky and focusing on the barb wire itself.

Nice....!  I would argue for a bit more cropping off the top to center the hull and sunset. IMHO.

lightning and also detail in the sky made it look interesting. Any

Was culling through old photos, forgot about this one. Brought the

tonality to extreme contrast and kept the eye color with everything else

desaturated. There is definately a mood here. Thoughts?

First-time post? Wow... Crisp, incredible color, reflection, wow. More, more!

Old Glory... IMHO, colors seem a bit too saturated and dark though. Definately an original, quirky idea...! The image seems to give off a subtle message, I get the mental image of GI's gathering and singing around the piano way back in it's own 'glory days'.

Yep...  Might tinker with raising the dark tones to balance better with the lighter tones of the bull's face.

Processed this to give a sort of Depression - era look. And one of

Johnny Cash' songs was entitled "I Walk The Line".

Mark - Thanks! Wasn't completely candid, however, she was not posed. She stopped and looked into my camera when I asked to take the photo. What I like about it is the interesting color - the blacks with the contrast of the glasses and such.

Yan - thanks, that 'horrible thing' is a hammered dulcimer and it's stand... I'll see what I can do to 'erase' it out, another idea is to desaturate and fade the background. Wasn't much I could do when I shot it. Ahh well, but it IS of course practice, practice, practice...
