I love this shot! What a stern, yet pensive expression. You can almost see her mind in action.

Thanks for the suggestions, Jeff and Ken. I added the edited image below.
I tried my best to remove the tree from the background. Since I am not very good with cloning (really couldn't figure out how to remove the tree with the cloning method), I used the healing brush. I'm worried the job I did doesn't look very nice. I desaturated the image at 45% and cropped so that the model's head was more in the upper right corner than before. Also, I did try my first attempt at vignetting. What do you think?

I like it...looks like the kid has a tough decision to make! I like the blur of the background, which brings the focus clearly to the subject and the wild locks of hair.

I really like the expression here. Very simple pose, but the expression seems very complex!

The girl is beautiful in this shot, although there is something slightly distracting going on in the background, to the left of the girl. I can't make out what it is. Great vibe with the subject, though!

I like this shot. The red dress really jumps out from the darker background. I also like how the girl is partially cropped to one side of the frame. Adds interest.

This photo really catches the eye. Great composition. I really like how the face takes up most of the portrait. The white hood encasing the wrinkled, weathered skin makes the man look all the more interesting. Great job!
