I am not sure if picture is too dark. It looks perfect on LCD monitors, however foreground is very dark on CRTs. What should I do?

Thank you so much for very kind words - I am sure you can. Good pictire is 90% right time/right place combination.

I just realized that kids are not dark enough! For some reason on most of the LCD monitors you indeed see a lot of details in the shadows. My intent was to underexpose 2 stops at least so I see silhouettes and red bucket which was backlit.
I will take a note of that. Thanks all those who contributed!!!!

I just wanted to remind everybody that this is photographic forum, not political.
Photographically this picture doesn't give me anything.
And if indeed you would like to have photo discussion, not political, then I would get much closer and try to make a super wide angle shot - this may save this picture a bit.

advance for your comments! Gene.

Thank you for your comments. I thought two elements - splash and sun will make a difference. I guess only sun is enough. Thank you! Gene.

I took this picture in La Jolla Cove near San Diego, CA. The original
scan has all the details in the wave and very dark areas. However I
wanted to mach this picture to the original print. Tell me what you
think. Thanks!
