We are on a similar theme the past few days...for me these cats have been willing subjects...surprisingly!

 

For lighting I used the 580 behind a diffusion panel.

Truth is, the sky was very boring that day...just the shade of gray you see, and the sun was poking through to the west, just hitting the birds and buildings. I ried different compostions but this one was the only one that worked for me. Maybe I'll try photoshopping a better sky into the photo!

 

My most demanding critic...thank you! I always like comments that make me think from a new angle about what I'm doing.

No trick shooting here! The boulder is a steep roof and the climbing is difficult. My friend is a strong climber indeed.
