Slave flash...need help.... in Canon EOS Mount Posted August 9, 2006 I have a digital rebel xt and am trying to use a Sigma ef-500 dg super as an optical slave flash using the rebel's pop up flash to fire it. However, the sigma is firing off the preflash of the rebel. Is there anyway to disable ETTL on my rebel to eliminate the preflash. I am at a loss. Can't figure it out. Please help.
