Thank you Mathew. The floor is indeed marvellous but in this photo I could not include it. In my portfolio, you may care to see other 2 photos and actually see the marble floor. All this made almost 2.000 years ago! The largest dome in the world up to 50 years ago!

Dear Jeff,

Mateus is very near Vila Real, central north Douro river.

You may know Mateus Rose wine! I think it is the moust famous and bestseller rose wine in the world.

About your photos simply go ahead. I liked a lot. I simply have hundreds of photos of my country, Portugal, but have not time to upload all or great part of them on this humble portofolio.
