You've caught a very nice mood. I love the golden colors and the mist makes the image very warm. I would have liked seeing the subjects off center but that's me being fussy. Nice shot.

Beautiful shot. The only thing I would like to see is a little crop on the right hand side. That building is distracting to me. I love the colours and the sky. Great job!

Brave attempt. However, I find the image lacks sharpness. The focus should be on the creatures head but it is fuzzy. I know that macro doesn't allow a lot of depth of field but I would have liked to see more of the wings.

I like the abstract potential of this shot. I would have liked to see the bottom cropped out up to the bases. I would also like to see a straight horizon. I love the blue sky and those beautiful clouds. Nice job.

Francisco, I envy you for this shot. I was about a 2 feet away from a similar shot but by the time I realized this and set up to shoot, my opportunity was gone. This is a very nice shot. Knowing how difficult it is to photograph these creatures I would tentatively suggest the following refinements. I would have liked to see the whole wing and tail. A little more exposure would have been awesome but hey you got him or her and I didn't. Congratulations!

I agree that you should crop tighter on the flower. However, I wouldn't crop to a square format. I would crop to a vertical rectangular format to match the verticals of the flower and stem.

 

 

Nice image although I find it slightly overexposed. The highlights on the plant seem to be blown out on my screen. The background is a too bright for me. It takes away the attention from the main subject. I like the simple composition you used. I like the combination of yellow and blue.

 

My 2 cents

I feel their pain! If you were to crop off some of the bottom there would less distractions.
