I interested to know what role the D70 played in the creation of this image?

This is the best of the series. I personally like the clean look of minimum hair.

The only fault that I can see is the rather abrupt background in halo around her head.

Overall, very well done.

Specifically, you are looking at Lake Powell and to the north the very remote snow capped Henry Mountains in Utah. The Henrys were the last area in the lower 48 states to be mapped.

Bullfrog and Halls Crossing marinas can both be seen.
