I have had a similar issue with Hahnemuhle 308 Photo Rag which i am loading from the front. What setting should be selected in the printer driver? I am using a variety all with the same results namely - smudges across the leading and RH edge as you look at it. Any ideas? Is there a profile i can download for this paper?
Thanks

Can someone tell me how top photograher by average is calculated?
Is does not appear to be simply the average rating recieved by the
photographer. Are there other criteria involved?
Cheers

I would certainly be interested in other sites if anyone has some recommendations.
Only been a member for a few months but want to improve my photography not clamour to be top rated.
I too am sick off anonomous 3s seconds afetr a posting AND upset by the complete lack of info on the recent " changes" . what do I pay my subscription for.

Hi Bill,
I hjave had similar problems and in the end binne dthe use of this feature. I now use email to upload my images and have had no problem since. Click the link on your " manage portfolio " page , at the bottom of the next page your address will appear. Email your images to that address in future and they will appear in a new folder called PHOTODROP. You can then move them around with no problems.
Hope this helps

thanks for the responses.
Bob, I understand the 3rd party and CFS can be independent, guess I am looking at going the whole hog to safe some fiddling with refilling etc.
have seen the MIS website and am considering importing to the UK. I would be interested to hear how you get on with them. having used the adv B and W setting with the R2400 i am scared of losing that neutrallity by messing with the inks that are being used! And the question of longevity and meterism/meteremerism/memmeterismser guess you know what i mean !
thanks for the reply
let me know how you get on with them in the 2400 ( lovely machine! )

i have recently purchased an Epson R2400 and have been extremely pleased with
B+W printing using the Advanced B+W mode with Epson Archival matte papers.
having got to the point where i now need to consider some replacement Ink I
wondered if anyone out there had experience of the many Continuous flow systems
that are available. I have looked at the sites for MIS, Lyson and Fotospeed
which all proport to be " as good as K3" . Does anyone out there have
expirience of using these systems with the R2400? I am quite prpeared to put
the work in as far as custom profiles are concerned ( would i need to using Ad
B+W mode?). Any pointers on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Well I currently use the MC with half stop apetures, although it does not have a half stop marking or "click" into place it seems to work just fine.
I was hoping someone could tell me whether 1 is reoknowned as better than the other?
