    I think the yellow background is a little overpowering and the coral finger of the right is a little distracting. Your subject, the fish looks great and I am not sure if it is a buble or piece of sand. I like the fish. Just IMHO.

    These guys make great subjects. A few comments

    1) The exposure looks a little hot on his lower body

    2) This looks like 1 strobe. The lighting is a little harsh with the strong shadows

    3) The composition is a too centered. Of seteting your subject (maybe in the lower right) would make the photo more interesting and engaging.

    These baby black tips are quite common in the maldives. they like to hang out in the safety of the inside the barier reef. At this age they quite harmless and very photogenic.

     

     

    I like the B&W conversion and the light. Good job

    This is a great shot and I really do not have much to add. You could

    clean up a some of the backscatter and darken the upper left corner, but it is a great capture. I love the contrast with the smaller aneminies with the large on in the center.
