    This reminded me of 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin: A Child's Story' -- except with pigeons

    instead of rats. And bread instead of a pipe

    Into the street the Breader stept,

    Smiling first a little smile,

    As if he knew what magic slept

    In his quiet bread the while;

    Then, like a feeding adept,

    To throw his bread his hands he sprinkled,

    And green and blue his sharp eyes twinkled.

    Like a candle-flame where salt is sprinkled;

    And ere three shrill notes the pipe uttered,

    You heard as if an army muttered;

    And the muttering grew to a grumbling;

    And the grumbling grew to a mighty rumbling;

    And out of the rooftops the pigeons came tumbling.

    England has a vermin problem again, although now it's pigeons instead of rats. Thank

    Heavens for the Breader of Hyde Park.

    Har har (I'm sorry the jokes are awful, I haven't slept in days >.< )

    Michele was going through low self-esteem problems when this was taken -- through this

    photograph, I managed to prove to her that she was insane ;)

    I have just discovered photo.net -- I'm testing the options available. I'm not quite sure

    what I'm doing exactly for the moment, so please forgive me I've made any mistake.

    This photograph was taken two years ago with a camcorder camera (the worse kind!).

    However, the photo really triggered my love for photography. I'd be interested to see what

    others thought of it.

    On a deeper basis, we could question the nature of human beings and war through this

    photograph. Little boys have always enjoyed playing Cops and Robbers, War, etc without

    actually considering the consequences of the real-life version of their game.

    Did Olivier consider that millions have died doing what he considers fun? Obviously he's

    only playing -- but I suppose some could consider actual war amusing, or at least

    thrilling, too.
