DOF and black & white used to create a mood and tell a short story.
Will gladly hear what you think a bout it. Best regards

Dear all, best regards and thanks for your thoughts and feelings about
the composition and overall experience this picture inspires to you.

Best regards to all. Wondering about composition and any thoughts you
might have on this picture. Of course the right stalk might have been
much better if I had managed to move to have it a bit lower and
therefore frame the lizard. But by trying to achieve that had the
little one run away. Thanks for you comments.

No manipulations, tried to get the mood out of this differently lit
side street. As to put forwards the different and opposing shapes,
lines, materials and lights.
Can't wait to read your appreciations. Thanks

What are you feelings about it? I am eager and curious to read your
comments and ratings. Thanks for all those who take time leave some.

For all you comments. No problem Randall, your comments are the expression of what you feel and see and are what I am looking for to improve. I also thought about more contrast, but as I try as much as possible to do only overall adjustments this made the turbine way to dark fir me. The other more "artistic" reason is that the strong opposition between positive and negative space gives for me an extra. As you have to concentrate to see the details of the turbine if you are close up. Or see the opposition of spaces, tones and shapes if you are further away. So that was my final choice.
Best regards

Water turbine for an electric power station. What are you thoughts
about composition, perspective and use of the opposition of shapes,
light and shade ?
Best regards to all PN members who take the time to rate and critic.

I tried her to tell a story created on the spot using the
circumstances. Contrast between the close to be finished fantasy land
dream castle created by the adult. In opposition with the little boy
running towards the vastness of the infinity of the ocean. The
parallel ordered lines of the side walk and beach contrasting with the
free lines of the waves on the sand.

Nice composition and great light getting the transparency and the forward light balanced.

Nice composition and perspective, good DOF for a great B&W, even if the slight blur of the bottom right corner is somewhat distracting at first.

Can't imagine the time spent to get this one. Great composition and timing, for a simple stunning result. Congratulations

I would be highly interested in your perception of the picture. Rates
and constructive critics would be great. What do you think about the
composition, perceptive, atmosphere ... This is the result of the
stitch of over 14 picture i have to check the exact number and is a
few meters in size at 100% magnification.
Thanks to all of you who will take time to have a look.

Thanks for the remarks.
The image is fine on my laptop and black on my computer at work, it seems screen calibration changes a lot. by to flat do you mean the stitching process should have been done with a different setting to give more perceptive or it is the overall image composition?
Best regards

Trying to get a sense of depth and perspective in this landscape.

3600m up in the Swiss Alps, surrounded by 4000m peaks. I tried here to
make you share this moment. I couldn't put the image in a higher
resolution as it is the way to big. Thanks for your time, all comments
and ratings are welcome and appreciated.

Hand held shot, at sunrise on the top of the Mt Ventoux (about 2000m).
What do you think about the composition, subject vs. space, colors, ...
What does this picture inspire you ?
Best regards to all, and thanks for taking sometime for looking and
leaving your thoughts on this one.
