I am still quite new at studio photography. I own a rebel xt and one opus

100w strobe. I stuggle with getting sharp pictures of models moving. I Would

love some suggestions as to how I can capture sharp pictures of my subject

when I ask them to Dance or jump up in the air. My main priority is the

sharness of the eyes in my subjects, i have tried predetermining a focus point

with no luck. How can I do this? Can someon suggest a shudder speed, f stop,

and strobe output please? I have the standard 18-55 mm lense. Is it the

lense? Is it too slow? DO I set the camera to AI or AI servo?

I want to know what the differences in strobes, continous lighting and

florecents are, as far as the mood and feel one can produce with each or in

conbination.

I'm slowly learng about studio lighting. I have check out a two local

photographers www.gmb.ca and www.mooishi.com moosihboth have a style I love.

Thier pictures are so crip. Is it due to the lighting they used? For you who

have knowleged was it strobe or continous? and how do I get that high fashion

studio effect? Some have obviously had touch ups but over al I want to know

what type of lighting I can try out both tungsten and strobe. I will be

getting Alien Bee's soon but have no idea what type of continuous lights I

should look at.

HI, PRETTY NEW AT DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND WANT TO LEARN HOW TO GET

RID OF THE NOISE IN SOME OF MY SHOTS.....ooops sorry about the

caps..... please help me with your tips and advice.
