  1. I personally find the image pleasing to the eye, however the sky does seem a bit overwhelming as it is in this image. I thought maybe with a different lens we might get a different prospective on the sky to make it more brilliant.
Could anyone suggest a lens that could do this? Like I said earlier, I like the image as it is, but I sometimes have this problem where the sky is overwhelming to what I really want the subject of the picture.

  2. Ali Yousefi -

Very rarely do I ever have anything negative to say about anyone's image, however using our honored dead as a piece of Art is morally wrong.

If it were a journalistic image, I would I would have a different opinion, however I think this image is not art at all, but more over a bad attempt to create an emotional response at the expense of those who have honorably served my country.

Add to this, I might be wrong, but it looks as though the pigeon has been photoshopped into the image.

It would be funny to find out they are playing chess - just like the old guys used to do 20- 30 years ago.
Great image, it speaks for itself. For me like I mentioned earlier, it reminds me of the old guys down at the park playing chess.
    Good Job!!!!

Looking over the images real carefully and being the "Star Trek" nerd that I am, I would say yes. I see the area where he found the sulfur for his improvised weapon, the area where kirk was chased and thrown boulders at. I don't see the area where he climbed up to make his log entry though....

But yes, I believe this is the spot.

  3. The original image is color, however the skin tones were so red and the

clothing was red that it was difficult to get a good blend. So I

desaturated it and added a few shadows.

I'm not the best at using photoshop, however I did learn a lot from

    working this image.

There was a bit of work put into the "series" of photos I took with this

guy. I used a blue filter over a bw image. Thought and critique very much

    appreciated. ;)

Wow... by the intent look on the face's I can only assume there is a serious story behind this image. Very nicely done.

I like the shadow's and the focal point of the image of you man in the middle.... However everyone's face actually makes me feel as though there is something very serious going on. Or they're in Church maybe. lol

Over all I like the image, shadows, texture and composure all very nicely done.

I like this image. It just grabbed my attention when scanning threw the galleries.

It would be cool to photoshop the people out of it and get some words on top of all the cars that says some kind of message.

Awesome image!!! It is very sharp and crisp, the contrast is spot on and the colors seem to compliment each other, from the lip stick to the red in the dress and the fan. It all matches the setting very nicely. ;)

Thank you for the kind comment - when posing him I tried desperately to even the lines - toe, shoulders and hands. Just like the "Pro's" do when they make images like this. But when editing I found a nice balance just the way it is.

I like this images, it's been told to me that it is a little dark. However I

intended the image to be this way, subtle in the lighting.

    Thanks for your thoughts.

My wife has asked for some floral images for her room, so here I go.

More to come in the future.

    Thanks for your time ;)

Critiques Appreciated.... This was a joke image during a photoshoot,

but indicates the fun we were having while working.
