I just bought a D50 with the packaged lens (AF-S NIKKOR 18-55 3.5-
5.6G). I'd like to add a zoom and am considering the following
because they are within my limited budget:
1. Nikon AF NIKKOR 70-300 4-5.6G
2. NIkon 55-200mm AF-S DX Lens
3. Sigma 55-200 4-5.6 DC
Can I please get opinions on these? Thanks!
D SLR Lens Focus Question
in Mirrorless Digital Cameras
Posted
Hi-
My old non-digital 35 mm SLR had a lens that I found to be much
easier to manually focus than the lenses available today for the
DSLRS. It had a circle that was bisected by a horizontal line. As
you manually focused, you watched for the top half of the image to
line up with the bottom half.
Why can't I find a lens like this for a Nikon D50 or Canon Rebel
XT? Are they not available or am I not looking in the right place?
This type of lens seems so much easier to focus.
Thanks.
