These are quite ordinairy flowers but I isolated them with the macro lens

and bounced flash to create even lighting. Afterwards ran them through

PS to increase color, added vignetting and added the purple color shift

in the background.

Did I succeed in giving creating an appealing image?

Really cool sky! It might work even better with some more color in the foreground. The flowers cannot compete with the sky in my opinion.

Hi Dave

Thanks for the comment. My aim of the picture was to make the tower more interesting and show it from a new perspective. I wanted to avoid the standard frontal shot with a very small tower surrounded by a lot of air.
This way I felt that the was more balance in the frame as well as a lower % of black air.
It maintains the sense of scale this way as well.

I did a walkabout in Berlin and found this nice contrast between the old

Berliner Dom and the former East german TV tower. Both pretty in their

own way.
