1.
My first wedding was with a Nikon D40 the standard 18-55mm (can't remember f-stops) and a 50mm f1.8. It was hard work both taking the photos (especially with the 50mm because of lack of AF) and post processing afterward. But it can be done.

Truthfully, I have very little confidence when I look at my wedding photographs. I send them off and hope that my clients send me an email or contact me saying that they like them.
But so far all of them love them (fingers crossed I haven't jinxed myself!!!)
I think your images are very lovely (looking @ the wedding ones, haven't seen the others yet) and you look like you've found your style.

 3.
blurb is amazing, just got my book through the post y/day as a gift for my soon to be wife. full with pictures of our children. Its easy to use and the quality is amazing (and im seriously fussy)

 4.
I find it cheeky asking for such demands especially 2 weeks before the wedding! You've done the right thing to ask on here as I'm sure one of the members on this forum will have some decent advice for you.
Makes you want to buy a wig for the male photographer (a little light humour, no pun intended).
See, I would be scared to cancel (maybe because I've only just started) but because I would be thinking to myself that there is no way any other photographer will be able to do it anything less then 2 weeks notice. I would explain to her that in such short notice that she can try finding another photographer but it would be a risk and try explaining to her that you would either do it yourself or get more coverage by hiring the 2nd photographer.
Sorry I can't offer more advice and I hope you find a solution

Hello everyone,
I offer the following package which includes all day photography (Preparation of the bride, Wedding and Reception) then all images post processed and put onto a DVD/CD in a stylish leather wallet letting the clients then print the images from home or a photo lab.
But the problem is, is that a bride just emailed me stating "When we tried to get some prints done at Asda they wouldn't release them because they said they looked like professional photos and we need a letter from the photographer giving us permission to make copies".
Now me being new to wedding photography, I've never actually come across this, now of corse I will provide a letter of realise but is there an easier way to resolve this?
Any response is appreciated and also some advice on the letter of realise. Thank you

 6.
I would say that you are doing this for a favour so don't get to worried about it, just keep your eyes open.
If you are inside a venue make sure you have some fast lenses (f1.8 / 2.8).
When you said "25th wedding anniversary" the images that popped into my head are photos taken with family members, maybe a few candid and formal portraits also the best shots always come from the children running around doing what they do best. I would try to photograph the eldest family members and also the surprised faces of the husband and wife when they enter!! Sounds like fun

 7.
Hello,
I've got a wedding to photograph in 2 weeks time. I've been to the location (as I've never been there before) and it looks like there is not alot of room for group shots.
Lucky enough the Bridal Preparations, Ceremony and the Reception are all happening in the same venue but all in different rooms so the group shots (in my opinion) should be taken there too.
The only place I can think of taking the photographs are in the massive lobby which has an upper floor looking down on to the lobby.
So I could either take photographs from above or on ground level.
I've been looking on Google for "group photos taken from above" but can't find any that look artistic, just plain.
Can any one show me any examples of group shots taken from above or group level for inspiration?

 8.
The website has been live for around 2 months and at the moment I've only got 2 bookings so far through the website.
Is there anything you think that needs improving?
I'm not a pro wedding photographer (as you could properly tell from the images) but I only do this Part Time as I work Full time.
My website is www.aokphotography.co.uk
the website is best viewed in google chrome or firefox as IE plays it up for some reason?!
