Excellant Photo...When I first saw the thumbnail of thhis image, I thought that the tree line had been digitally duplicated and faded...and didn't like it. Then the larger image came up and it was obvious that the scene was shot as it is shown...WOW. You just gotta be there to get the shot when it happens. I hope that this is a scene that you can return to a under different conditions of weather and lighting.

I like this image (I seem to like this type of image). It is technically good and esthetically pleasing. The foreground ripples almost look like the ribs of a creature. Look at it again and mentally crop-out the lighter, smoother sand and the sky. Imagine the image as only the ripple portion. Is there another composition there as well? What a great Shot! The combination of sharp elements define the subject u-nambiguously while the blurred elements imply the motion that must be present. The more distant seeds merge into the clouds drawing the eye up and away.I would like to see other images from this series.

Hello Karl,
What a great photograph! Generally speaking, I do not enjoy "travel/documentary/peeople" type images, but this one speaks to me. The shafts of light, thre shadows, the ilumination of the faces and serving bowls all make a visually rich image image.
