  1. Andy, thank you so much! I feel so relieved, but I can't believe I missed this because I read the manual through and through many times and again just before posting this message! But that fixed the problem! I was using the toggle by the LCD screen and didn't notice the diopter, which is more like a wheel! You saved me a lot of aggrivation! Thanks again!
  2. I was hoping it was just my eyes, but my husband said it was "blurry" and I tried the diopeter (I called it a "toggle") so that wasn't it...

I will have to check out the insides and see if I can do any adjustments or maybe I will just have to send it in. Or maybe it is just dirty.

I tried several different lenses with no change! Blast!

But, Thank You all for all your suggestions. I tried them all! I only wish they could've worked, but I am sure something will work out and at any rate at least the pics come out crisp and in focus, I just can't do any manual focusing accurately!

  3. When I look through my viewfinder and attempt to focus, there is not any part

of the image that is crisp. It all seems out of focus, and I don't know what

is causing this. The camera is now about 9 months old now. I can't understand

what could be causing this problem and I was wondering if anyone had similar

experience and what they did to fix the problem. This happens in manual focus,

auto focus, and when I try to move the "focus" to another part of the area

with the toggle, nothing changes. Is this possibly a sensor cleaning issue?

How do I clean the sensor and with what? Help!

The only other thing that has happened with this camera was when I was out in

the desert and it was 105 and it kept saying "busy" or "error 99" and I

finally took it and put it in front of the AC vent in the car and it cooled

off and has worked perfectly since, except the focus.
