Shot in a cemetery in Regina, Saskatchewan, in May 2000. Nikon FM2n,
AF 75-300/4.5-5.6 @ ~250-300 mm, 1/2000 @ f/5.6. Tri-X developed in
PMK. I was pleased with how this developer turned the areas that
normally turn grainy with Tri-X into creamy smoothness. I like the
unintended symbolism that appeared in this photograph. When I take
pictures, I am usually too busy recording what excites or inspires me
to think too much; I rely upon instinct. This image jumped off the
contact sheet to me when I looked at it.

Is it just me, or is this very reminiscent of Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico, by Ansel Adams? I know it isn't really the same, but it just *reminds* me of that image. I think it's the clouds and the mountains.
I have Moonrise on my wall ten feet away and although there are more differences than similarities, this image speaks to me like one of Ansel's. Nicely done.
