This is the time when cherry blossoms sprout their beautiful arsenal of flowers. The photo depicts a tree leaning in to an almost baren scene with muted colors against a muted lanscape and muted semi-cloudy sky. There is lack of contrast, balance and detail. There is no subject; only the larger object in the foreground, the tree.

You have captured too much insignificant information if the objective where to get the best image of the flowering tree.

This photo would have been done better as a close-up of the flowers/branch with a blured background. Shooting from down within or above the tree may have lent a new perspective and contrast. A diferent angle incorporating an object or person for perspective. Also waiting for sunset, might lend added color and contrast to the scene.

Nice angle/ a little tension on the rigid pose, not bad.

I liked the color and lighting of your suject. The water drops add to the drama. It is on first impresion a sharply focused photo, that loses sharpness on the right edge. I found this as a negative distraction from an otherwise nisely portrayed subject.

I think you have done a great job at capturing a "sense of place". You can practically smell the morning air lift as the sun warms the land. Nice job!
