Hi there, I'm new to Photonet and have only just loaded 5 photos onto this website. I only have the free subscription level at the moment as I wanted to see what the community was like here before paying for a full membership or whatever its called. Does anyone know why it is that I can't then see them shown in the public gallery. Do I new to upgrade to get this or have I done something wrong.
Sorry for the stupid questions.......
Please help.
Thanks
Mark

Hi guys, thanks very much for all your responses - I really appreciate the interest that was shown in my question. At the end of the day, I saved the original images I wanted to enter onto disks and sent them in anyway. I'm not sure what they were talking about because when you open the files in Photoshop (with the browser) the format is shown as "Camera raw". I just hope they manage to sort that one out. Thanks again.

Hello there, I'm desperate, what can I say! I've just been told by
BBC Wildlife competition that my original RAW images are not in the
correct format ie should be CR2 or CRW. I own a Canon EOS 1Ds. The
original images I saved from my camera onto my computer never had a
CR2 format or anything. My images seemed to have all been in TIFF.
What the hell have I done wrong. Is there a setting on my camera
that I've missed or something. When I download the images from my
card to my computer, it never asks me whether I want to convert
these files into another format.
This really sucks. Only person that can understand this level of
crapness is someone who is equally obsessed about wildlife
photography and has had this happen to them.
Any advice to help would be much appreciated.
For your info, the photos where full frame, focused and in flight
images of Bearded Vultures.
