Hi to all, someone maybe can help here.

I need to fit my old style pro shade on a old 50mm f.4 C serie lens.

Right now fit perfect on my 80mm. C and 150mm. C but not and the 50mm C.

The 50mm has a thread. Is there a different kind of adapter?

I think for the price you can get ($150 to $225 depends) is one of the best 50mm you can have especially the coated ones, I love mine.

Have this lense on a M3 with 400 ISO b/w ...that's all you need.

Thank you all, I think I'm going with the summaron, seems to be a better choice. Now I need to save some money.

seems like the summaron a has more improvement in the glass.

What will be a good price to pay for a user summaron?

I'm thinking to get a 35mm. for my IIIc to complite my set from 35 to 135.

What do you suggest between 35mm. elmar and 35mm. summaron?

I don't think is like cheating, it really depends wath kind of photos you do and why.

In our studio we can never go back on film for many reason,...mostly like is time saving not mention money waste.

On my own photography I still enjoy film with my Leica M3.

I'll say just enjoy both.
