I use a Radio Slave 4i with my Canon 30D at weddings, etc. I mount my Vivitar

283 in the hot shoe and plug in a Radio Slave 4i into the PC socket so it will

trigger a second flash. The PC socket appears to have unscrewed itself. The

center PC tip wiggles a little. I had several misfires this past weekend. Is

there a special tool to screw the PC socket back in? My needle nose pliers are

very cumbersome and don't grip well at all.

My 10D went down Monday during a shoot. I started getting an error 99

message. My images went fromn a 3/4 image to 1/2 to 1/4 and then nothing. I

tried cleaning lens and body contacts but no luck. Any thoughts? Has my

shutter gone bad? Is it worth getting repaired or should I get something new?

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

I was shooting some stuff early last evening and one image has a faint red line

running top to bottom. (in vertical orientaion) It shows up in only one image.

Any ideas on what it might be? It shows up about 1/5th from the right.
