I guess I'm a contrarian, but while I like the idea behind the image, I don't like the image itself. These are my opinions: First, the projection creates the appearance of a skin disease. Second, obscuring a face can create mystery, but here it is simply an obscured face. Third, the "framing" seems random and does nothing for me. Again, I like the idea, but the image is not my cup of tea . . . although it does call to mind a flame, in an intriguing sort of way.

The large dark area on the right is perfect -- it creates a sense of the mass of the canyon walls. If it were reduced, you would be left with just a frame. Outstanding work!
