Glenwood: yes, the girl in the backgroung was essential, I cropped a little though... Jim: well, the eyes could be sharper - when I look at the full-size image I see some blur, but anyway - just a grabshot, and AF does what it wants as usual... :-) By the way, hese were "field tests" of a recently bought Sigma 20-40/2.8. So far, so good and MUCH better than 18-70 kit lens...

The bands are due to scanner's bad habits (does that repeatedly). Light came from a window on his right/front plus some light from the glazed door on hs right and a bit to the back. I love that 105/2.4 even wide open. And it's soooooo fast, even half a stop matters when you have to choose between 1/125 and 1/60 with that beast's "recoil".

Very seldom I have that feeling: "this is it!" when I am taking the picture. Even more seldom it remains true after seeing the picture itself. This one of these very very few pics! -

I scan negs on rather low quality flatbed scanner. I haven't printed anything since early 90s... I send selected negs to a colleague for printing. Nice, but I definitely would prefer to do my own...
