It's rather David Hockney-esque... I like it. If anything, I would increase the stand-out by either: a) making each shot more different in terms of exposure so the edges stand out more or; b) add a slim polaroid-type frame to each image to achieve the same thing...
Could look evn more edgy with some stunning, bespoke framing (perhaps the actual precise shape of the perimeter) as well?!
