A striking portrait in more ways than one. Light is exceptional

Love that golden reflection, sets off the colors of the bird even more so

Love the mysterious mood the light and fog creates. The dark tones add even more to that mood.

Great behavioral display you photographed. Like how the bird stands out well against the ground. I would like to see more eye contact and maybe a lower angle, but things like that are always easier said than done, and in cases like this usually dependent upon a cooperative subject.

Excellent pose (especially the tail) and I like that background. Overall the image looks fairly dark on my monitor, but other than that a very nice shot.

Fantastic shot. Can't help but love the foreground motion and lines leading in, and how it all fits into the rest of the scene.

Outstanding Gary! This one is filled to the brim with outstanding light...the interplay between shadows...fantastic! I think my one teeny nit is it seems a bit soft.

I love the composition - the placement of contrast between both the color and light. Quite an abstract, and quite an image.

This is very cool. While the red cast overall may seem a bit much, I think at the same time it enhances the image to make it look almost mars-like. I like how the far left and right rock formations seem almost to be smoking.

Fantastic curves, tones, and comp! I was trying to think of a word to use to describe this a bit better, then I read the previous comments and found it...sensual.

Wow, this is really cool. Another world! Some parts look a tad over-sharpened, but that's a personal preference. Excellent composition and great shot.

I really like the combination of subtle tones in parts of the image, and bright warm orange tones in the rest - together I think they make the other stand out that much more, and create a feeling to the image! The comp is very pleasing. My one nit might be the reflection (mid-mountain), there are a couple bright patches which aren't present in the mountain...almost look like rain drops on the lens. That aside, a wonderful image!
