  1. I shoot NPH for all weddings and similar work. The NHG is very good. I switched to NPH because I thought Fuji was going to discontinue the NHG. I really like NHG better. It is a bit less contrasty. The NPH is sharp and fine-grained, but a bit contrasty. However, I still use the NPH and get great results.

I am not a Kodak fan. The PMC seems a bit flat and the exposure latitude seems poor. Fuji films seems to have a warmer color balance and have a wider exposure latitude. Also, the Fuji films seem to handle the wide variety of colors found in the course of the average wedding better than the Kodak films.

  2. I use the C lenses all the time. My 80mm is a T* and the 150 and 50 are not T*. I see absolutely no difference in the photos. I use the lenses for my wedding photography work and occassionally for portraits. In my opinion, the C lenses are great either in the T* or non-T* version.
  3. I have used both screens. The acute matte is much, much better. The beattie was hard to focus and I would have quite a few exposures out of focus. I was told be a technician that the beattie was made such that if you looked at it at a slight angle, the focus would be off. The glass is not flat. The acute matte glass is flat and, therefore, it makes not difference if it is looked at at an angle.

I like the acute matte much better. I sold the beattie after using it a couple times. The acute matte has more contrast and is just as bright (if not brighter).
