  1. Hi Scott. I recognized where you photographed this one immediately. Keep having fun and the great images will come. Since we live in the same area you might be interested in my photography. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

  2. This is a wonderful photograph, Gerry. I really like the framing and your Vervet Monkey is extremely colorful. It's too bad that the photo.net rating system doesn't have the design to really rate correctly for technical skill, difficulty of the shoot (i.e., getting to the location), etc. This is a 7/7 in my opinion.

Hello from California, Jorge! I really like the unusual shape of the iceberg. It's not something we see everyday on photo.net. I reviewed your portfolio and really like your work. Keep having fun & all of your best images will continue to come!

Hello from California, Jay. I really like this image. It's funny how sometimes things take on a whole new perspective when viewed "large" on photo.net, isn't it? This capture needs to be viewed "large" to really take in the scale of the Lake Powell area. Keep up your good work. I reviewed your portfolio and really like your insight & creative talents.

This is a beautiful capture, Artur. It's a real shame that your photograph isn't the top rated photograph...but, alas...there's the rating system that is full of holes!

    Great Job!

This is absolutely stunning! The black background makes the bird just "pop" out wonderfully. I love the texture of this beautiful bird. Great job!

Hello from California, Ian! I really like this photograph. The brown frozen water contrasting with the white snow makes for a very visually pleasing work. Good job!

  3. This is a very beautiful butterfly, Nyctea! I love to photograph butterflys too. You might want to look at my photo.net page...I have some beautiful butterflys that you would probably like. Keep having fun and all of your best images will come!

  4. Hello from California, Nyctea! This is a very beautiful bird. The back of the bird is a little out of focus to my eye. You might want to to consider doing a "close crop" of just his head/frontal area. This is might really make your bird capture "pop". Let me know if it works! Continue to have fun and all of the great images will come!

    Pellican

Hi Bob. I like your photograph a lot. I have a suggestion that you might want to try. A close crop of his full head and beak (done virtically) might work for you. Also you might look at a square crop too. It's hard to do pellican's that stand out and this might just be the trick. Continue to have fun and your best images will come.

  5. Hello from California James. I really like this photograph. I don't know how much concert photography that you have done but it's not easy any more here in the states. Too hard to get to the stage area and to be able to get close enough to get any good angles...even with a monster lens. How was the concert? How was his voice?...he still is a force in the music business. I think he did a album ( or songs) with The Black Crows as I recall and actually toured with them for a while.

Keep having fun and all of the great images will come!

Hello from California Mark. I don't find this photography boring at all. Are the guys in the right corner "body surfers"? When I was younger I use to be pretty crazy and I would body surf the big waves (up to 25 feet). I have gotten a little older now so I don't do that any more! Keep having fun and the great images will come.
