I guess practice makes perfect, with hopes of one day getting my
images right.
So I've been putting alot more time into gathering the necessary
materials. My 5 year old son helped me shoot all of the materials
used in this image, like holding the sticks in certain positions and
being the model. He's a bright kid.
What else should I consider before picking up the camera?
What else should i being doing to make this image look like it was
shot that way?
Thanks:)

Thanks for the encouragment Emery. I checked out your porfolio and really loved the Yorkshire shot. Nice work.

Reminds me of the painter Thomas Kincade. I love the light on the grass. It almost looks un natural. I really like the satuarated colors. Excellent.
And I think we all know what you mean when you mention how you feel lucky when you get a shot like this. It's what keeps us coming back for more. I'll keep checking back for updates.

Thanks for your time, and yes the colors have been inverted in ps8. I have a problem though. When I take a picture, I have to immediatly run home and photoshop the heck out of it. I'm sure there's a 1-800 number I can call for help with my problem. :)

Does this image leave you wanting more? Do you think it's not fully
satisfying? What could've been added to this composition to improve
it? Thanks

My question is:
Does the really small DOF here take anything away from the picture,
or add anything to it?
I used a 10X close up filter, which of coarse limited the focus area.
Your comments will be appreciated, Thanks.
