well i dont know the value of responding to this forum because most likely no one will read my post because there are tons in here already, but I too agree that however important or not...my ratings have fallen dramatically and the way i determine this is to look at my averages on photos submitted before these recent changes and then to look after...my highest rated photo can not possibly be my best work I dont think...the fact is that when you get work in the first few pages of the TRP then you get lots of feedback and many people doing similar work make comments and then you can see thier work and corespond with them, but recently I have struggled to get anything back from anyone...with all that said some people photos get rated drastically lower than they should be...sitting next to offshots and obviously bad photos...this is disapointing if you put work into and its obviously better...that is why people complain...or at least that is what brings me to this thread...because the anonymous rating system sucks so much I think that we ought to be able to do recent average search for direct ratings only...this isn't an option as of now to my knowledge...I really only look at these averages to judge popularity at this point anyway...
