One day prior to landfall near South Padre Island, Texas the feeder

bands of Hurricane Alex arrive.

There was no forecast for Tropical Storm Hermine to impact South

Texas. However, viewing the sunset on South Padre Island on Sept. 5,

2010, the clouds presented on ominous sign - the storm impacted the

following day.
