James, thanks for the critique. Yup, those green leaves do distract, to be sure. Gotta edit them out. The far left guy is the joker of this band, and he would not give the old R&R scowl to save a life. Although one could argue that the lefty's joviality breaks thee otherwise serious looks of the other gents. The group was lots of fun. I checked out your images, and I was left very impressed...what awesome work you have there!

I wanted to give an over the top contrast and saturation effect,
along with the Sodium Vapor light source used behind the club. I
think this shot seems to work. Do you agree? The band plays 70s,
80s faire, and does it very, very well. I wanted to go for
that "Foreigner" look, but not sure if I've achieved it.

David, the lighting is "terrible"? You're kidding right? The subject's face is lit perfectly. I don't think the lighting could be better! And who cares why she is eating in the middle of the street. I guess you've never been to Milan at night. It seems you're a troll and your responses are not to be taken seriously.

Bryce, I used a Canon 50mm F1.4 lens set at F2...it produces creamy dreamy bokeh...a great lens for sure.

This is Rocky, the fat cat. He loves to eat. 24/7. He loves liver
and fish the best, but in a pinch he'll eat kidney and chicken.
He loves to eat walnuts too. Peanuts give him wicked flatulance, so
when we go to the Dodger game, all he gets is a small Budweiser and
some Kiddles & Bits which I bring in a small bag.
Rocky prefers black & white to color. I think it's because the only
color on his body is his jade green eyes, but I could be wrong.
I recently asked him where I should vacation this year, and he
said "Maui". But I'm going to Rome this summer, so the joke's on him.
Please let me know how you like this picture.

Chris, you're right. The image should be rotated. Thanks for the comments.

This is another outside of Stove Pipe Wells, at the dunes. Please
let me know what you think.

I took this in Death valley, just outside of Stovepipe Wells. I
loved the texture of the sand. Please let me know what you think.
Thanks!

This image was taken in Lancaster, California February 2005. I
thought the line of orange Poppies on the edge of the cliff was
interesting, as well as the belt of clouds overhead.
Please tell me what you think.

I'd like to know what you think about his image. Taken back in 02-
2005 at Lancaster, California.
