  1. I recently bought one from Mark Hama, considered to by many to to be the quintessential authority on Yashica in North America. Check out his website and email mail him if you like. The one he sold to me looks like it just came out of the factory; and it takes beautiful pictures!

  2. If you are not using a flash then what you see (through the viewfinder), is what you get! If it looks like the 'Black Hole of Calcutta' then you'll get a dark image. I would suggest, like others here, you get used to AV or M mode first and under not-so-challenging lighting conditions.

     

    You have taken a picture, but it is grossly under exposed. I boosted the exposure factor to +7.00 in Photoshop and reduced the resolution to 72 pixels/inch (that is all you need for internet viewing).
