It really is a haunting image, rather scary. The cracks, the colour, that vacant eye socket, and those four horizontal lines through your face all work together to

create an awesome scary portrait.

Gotta love the lily, good perspective here. I never noticed the love heart shape evident in the flower until seeing this image. Really well presented.

I like the even composition here concerning the fence, the central focus on the K9(Darwin?)is nice as well.

I must say the little nose on the left detracts from the image for me, the image would look stronger with out it me thinks. That was my initial instinct, viewing this, although, it would be hard to PS it out considering the shadow that it casts.

After having revisited the 'Trapped between Windows' gallery of yours Gordon, I think almost any of them could be a POW image.

This is indeed a beautiful image, with wonderful colours, and a very, i think, original way to present a flower to the viewer.

This image really stands out! i like the treatment you have decided on, composition is eye pleasing as well. The all black border/BG makes the flower pop out very nicely as well.
