Trying out my new (old) Nikon Coolpix 5400 converted for IR.

I agree with Pierre. This is a great picture with some great side lighting, but the red dot (I assume it is supposed to be the moon) is distracting - you don't need it in this picture. Still, a wonderful composition and I like the out-of-focus areas.

The Wave in Duo Tone

Very good control of DOF and I like the structural aspect of this shot, but I think you over-did the curve/contrast tool. The sky is totally blown and you have some serious banding in it.

This is a great picture and I appreciate it even more because here in the Soutwest in the US we could not see the eclipse at all. Very well done!

I like the texture and the abstract nature of this picture. The shadow is placed perfectly. Circles on straight diagonal lines works very well indeed. Well done!

very good control of depth of field. I wish the large shadow wouldn't distract from the intended effect. I cannot figure out what would cast such a huge shadow from a violin - I assume it is something nearby that is blocking the light. I would redo this shot and eliminate that obstruction. It would be a great photograph!

Try Image Adjustment - Shadow and Highlights - function in PS - it should do the job for you!

I would crop more on the right side - the leopard gets kind of lost in the picture. You got a great shot here - just focus more on what's important instead of the tree.

This is truely beautiful work - I can't believe she let you throw potting soil on her. You created a piece of art! The DOF is perfect and I lik ethe high contrast in this image - the grain actually works in your favour here! Great job - and a beautiful wife - congratulations on both:-)

This little guy made our backyard his territory. He will chase away

any other hummingbird, but does not mind us at all. This afternoon

we refilled the feeder> To thank us he just sat there and posed for

a few shots. It really is a beautiful little bird.

You need to play Deep Purple's "Child in time" from the Made in Japan Album with this picure - it is one of my favorite songs. Now I can't get that song out of my head!:-)

We finally had gotten some rain and it was cloudy all day, but just

before sunset the sun came through and created this dramatic setting.

This is a fantastic shot - the low view point and the IR really work here. It almost looks like a painting. This is one for your walls!

Powershot G7 and dialed in the Macro function to take this shot.
